Passover/April Fool’s Day

We are back in DC from RDV. We had a lovely seder last night, the highlight being the 3 cousins singing the Four Questions together. We had a lot of yummy food and desserts and we even made it through most of the haggadah. N had a lot of fun playing with Sydney and Eden. This morning, he and Sydney created a "gift shop" in the basement where they sold us stuff in exchange for beads. Very cute. Thank you Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron for a lovely seder!

Our drive back home was fast and uneventful until we we just past Baltimore, when N had big burp. Sigh. He managed to throw up into the bags I had left next to him for that purpose, which made cleanup much easier. We were home by 6:28 – important because that meant Daddy won a bet on when we would get back. One minute later and I would have won.

Grandma Sandy brought over Seder leftovers for dinner so we had a nice yummy dinner right after we got home!

Here are some things the girls have done in Costa Rica this week:

whitewater rafting

hiking – today around a sulfur volcano

swimming

ziplining

They arrive home in 2 days and we can't wait!!

Also today is April Fool's Day. Since we weren't home, we didn't plan any elaborate April Fool's Day jokes. Daddy put a bunch of random stuff in N's bath and then covered it all up with bubble bath, so N was very surprised in the tub. And Grandma Sandy drove around with the "I Love My Granddog" magnet on her car for at least 48 hours. Ha!

It is also the one year anniversary of the girls' bat mitzvah!

And… Nats are 3-0. That is all.
