What a day!!
Many good things happened today.
The girls had their recital at Grandma Sandy's house. They did a great job! It was a lovely party and the girls were the stars. Everyone loved hearing them play. Thank you to Grandma for making a lovely party, planning the recital, and, of course, for the piano lessons! Daddy took video on his iPad which I will upload and post.
Yay for the recital!
On the soccer front, the girls were down 3-0 at halftime, with some tough goals (mostly over M's head). And then they came alive! Deal came back and scored 4 goals in the second half! Poor A blocked a kick with her stomach in the first half, which was pretty uncomfortable for her. She took a break from the game and came back for the second half. Jonathan Chait gave a ridiculous pep talk at halftime about A's sacrifice and dedication. A little OTT. But we won!!
We also bought pumpkins! And we've carved two of them tonight. N wanted a face, but a surprised face. The best is when N makes the face on his own face that we carved on his pumpkin.
A made a cat silhouette.
M is going to do the DC flag tomorrow.
We're all exhausted and ave to get up early tomorrow to go to PA to canvas for Hillary. So I am signing off. So proud of the kids!
