Cute things:

N had picture day today. We asked him to show us whether he smiled for the camera, and he gave us some very cute smiles. Can't wait to see the photo.

Tonight N asked me for books about "planes, trucks, fire engines, cars and trains".  He is such. A. Boy.

The girls have a 5th grade panoramic photo shoot tomorrow. A wants to wear her Nats shirt and M wants to wear casual clothes like she always does so that people don't say "she is trying to look fancy!".

I spent some time today at Giant getting supplies for the girls' science fair projects. Here is what they have prepared for tomorrow:

 

I am concerned that my post from Thursday wasn't read by many people because I posted it after midnight and Feedblitz didn't pick it up. So I am re-posting. There is some great artwork in it.

Tonight was the 5th grade Arts Night/Informance. It was great! The grade did two different songs about ecosystems, and then each class did some sort of performance. M&A's class each read poems – M's was about coyotes and A's was about conservation. Their artwork was shown on the stage in a powerpoint presentation.

I can't believe it's the girls' LAST ARTS NIGHT at Lafayette! Just thinking about it makes me start to cry.
