We had a successful BBQ tonight! It went smoothly and I think the kids all had a good time. The grownups did too. N was excited to have all those kids around. He wasn't interested in going to bed and he wanted to spend time with me instead of the babysitter I hired, but it all worked out OK in the end.

Other highlights of today:

• Nats won 10-1
• We got Daddy's car washed! N loved it.
• We went to the vet to pick up some meds for Lucky and N was intrigued by the dogs

Daddy returns tomorrow from almost a week away and I head out to San Francisco! Crazy.
