Good day today…

Got the girls’ photos taken by a professional photographer whose photo package we won in an auction. I bet they will turn out well (how could they not with cuties like that?).

Went to my office and hung out there for a while… had lunch with Christina and Lisa and generally ran around keeping people from doing work. Also used the color copier to make copies of Hella Baby, Baby, Ribbit, and M & A’s feet and hands.

Home for a nap.

Badly overdue haircuts with Paul, Mommy’s hairstylist. Great cuts. Then he cut Mommy’s hair too, with A sitting on my lap.

Then dinner at the pizza place.

Whew!

Daddy is very sick so he stayed home from work today. He was well enough to read books to the girls before bed.

One comment: Ever since A ceased the daily tantrums, M has gradually gotten more difficult. Today she told me I needed a timeout. (OK, I know I am not objective, but I really didn’t need a timeout. I wasn’t doing anything bad.) She’s also been ordering me around, barking at me, and being extremely demanding. We’re working on it – I have been talking to her about asking more nicely for things. She also reprised the comment, "I am ordering you for pizza," which always makes me laugh even though she said it in a very strident, angry tone. My mom has a theory that from birth, the girls colluded in deciding who would be good and who would be difficult every day. She may be onto something

Nutcracker obsession is slowly giving way to Finding Nemo obsession. They now like to assign roles to various people – Nemo, Marlin, Dory, etc.

For those keeping track at home, Imogene was *not* selected for a jury. Relief would be an understatement.
