I do not recommend running a bunch of errands on Rockville Pike on the Saturday afternoon before Christmas.
But other fun stuff has been going on.
- Girls had a performance last night and Grandma & Grandpa came, as did Daddy and Grandma Sandy, who saw the show for the second time because she had such bad seats the first time around.
- Something really fun happened after the Frontier Dance:
- The girls had their last day of school until 2015. M had Secret Santa in her class but A didn't.
- We had our final book club meeting of the year, where we discussed Out of My Mind by Sharon Draper. One of the saddest books I have ever read. We had Secret Santa in book club too. A got a S'Mores kit from Natalie and M got a necklace and keychain from Ellie.
- We watched the finale of The Amazing Race tonight. SPOILER ALERT – M's team won – the Scientists.
- Some of the Hanukah gifts that have been opened: Girls – Nats jackets, those pillow craft things they like, awesome card organizers from Grandma, tickets to see Joseph tomorrow night, PJs from Grandma; N – a bunch of sweaters he couldn't care less about, a cool plane/luggage truck thing from Aunt Darrah, some cute wooden animals from Tuvana, some other toys that are too hard to describe, PJs from Grandma; Me: a book and some clothes from Daddy; Daddy: Homeland season 1 and some clothes from me.
One D is on SNL right now! The boys look great.
