Rainy Saturday

Today was a rainy, mellow day. The girls had a good sleepover with Natalie last night and ALL of the kids in the house slept until 10AM. Daddy made a waffle breakfast and then took the girls to go bowling. It was so crowded that they ended up coming home pretty soon after they got there. I took N to the Bethesda library to pick up some books I had reserved for him, and we browsed and picked up some more books, including 4 more Llama Llama books. Then we went to Trader Joe's. N put lots of stickers all over his raincoat.

We came home and N took a nap, if by "nap" you mean lying in his crib, babbling, and pooping twice. No sleeping. Meanwhile the Nats got rained out in Philly.

At 6 we went to Friendship Heights and picked up Rachel, who came bowling with us – try #2. This time we got a lane and ate really healthy food at the bowling alley.

The results?

We came home and finished our puzzle! Rachel got totally into it and she really helped us.

Some N cuteness.

First, he loves Lilah, Natalie's sister. He was holding her hand yesterday and showing her around the house. Even Jen commented on it today when she came to get Natalie this morning.

Second, we were listing words that start with W on the way home from bowling:

Watermelon

Worm

Wiggle
