We had a pretty relaxing weekend at home. I am working on the Great Basement Cleanout. Yesterday – cleaned out the bike storage room and went to IKEA for new storage furniture in the main room. I was hoping to finish before the girls get home from camp but I doubt that will happen, and the sectional won't be in yet either.

N was still a little under the weather yesterday and he passed on the trip to IKEA with me, but we went to Kate and Darren's for a BBQ last night. N also did some biking up at Lafayette around the track, and he and I hung out with Lisa and Lee, who were in town for a few days. Great to see them!

Today we drove out to Rock Hall MD just to check it out. It's very cute and serene. It took 2 hours to get there and a little more to get back. We got home around 8:30. N is ready for another day of camp tomorrow!

Things we did in the car to pass the time: Here Come The ABCs, Here Come The 123s, Nats game (we beat the Cubs!), list all of the 30 MLB teams by division, look for all the letters A-Z in signs (Daddy and N played this one), and N's game that he invented – when he says the first of a pair of words, I say the second. The pairs:

Tree – Fort

Sky – Cloud

Yellow – Red

Blue – Green

Purple – Orange

Lighter Color – Darker Color

Car – Go

I am proud of him coming up with the game.
