A bit too much driving today.
Today N said, "All throughout the day, I wished my sweatshirt sleeve was made of cake, so that I could just take a bite of it."
Also N made me ask the people at Paw to Paw if they ever give the dogs anything less than an A. The answer is: yes, sometimes.
H's report today:
Practiced Let’s Go and Wait; he did great as usual and did the wait command automatically when told for the most part. He is still struggling a little bit with waiting by the doors but has improved.
Practiced Place with distractions; he did great with other dogs walking past him and treats being thrown near the cot!
Practiced Come command; he did better when I used more excitement to get his attention. He was able to come back to me when I called him without struggling!
Practiced Down with and without hand signals; he has improved at doing the command without the lure but we are still working towards phasing it out completely. He was able to do the command when told after a few minutes so we are also working towards him doing the command immediately after being told! Practiced Down Stay; he was able to stay in position when told and didn’t attempt to get up when I walked across the training room and back to him.
Practiced Sit without hand signals; he did great and didn’t struggle with this command at all!
