M had some fantastic saves in her soccer game today. Coach Jon said that it was the best goalie performance our team has ever had. They tied 1-1.

We went to Deal after the game for 7th Grade Family Day. A didn't want to go, but she had a not-terrible time. N was on the moon bounce a few times but all the big kids scared him so he got off.

N had a playdate with Alice today. She came over and hung out here, and then they went to Alice's house, which N didn't like because Auggie came too and crashed their date. A little troubling: a few hours after Alice left, I went into N's room and there were 10 pairs of his underwear on the floor.

We are making apple cupcakes for our mother-daughter book club meeting tomorrow re: The Giver. M worked extremely hard on them. We will take pics tomorrow after we add the stems and leaves.

I ushered at TS bar mitzvah this morning as part of our parent volunteer commitment. 6 months away – gulp! We have a lot to do!
