Shear Madness and The Diplomat

So here's the update since yesterday.

Last night was pretty cool. We went to see a screening of The Diplomat, the documentary about Richard Holbrooke made by his son David. Daddy was in the movie several times, being interviewed about what it was like to work with Richard. He did a great job! And then, after the movie, he was on a panel on the stage with David and a media interviewer. There were a lot of people there and Daddy did a great job. And he looked very cute:

Today, we put the house back together from the party, ran some errands, and then went to dinner with Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron. They took Daddy and the girls tonight to see the girls' favorite show, Shear Madness, at the Kennedy Center. Everyone enjoyed it a lot! N and I stayed home and took a bath, made peanut butter balls, and read Oh My Oh My Dinosaurs and a new book (that I loved) called 20 Big Trucks In The Middle of the Street.

This is our first weekend in forever without a million plans. No sports practices. No games. No ballet. No book club, no homework. We did go to Sidwell Camp orientation today, as the girls will be starting there in a month once Summer Intensive is done.

Here also are some photos of Grandma Dina meeting the President last Monday:
