Sick N

Poor N woke up with a very high fever early this morning – 104.4. He missed camp today (huge bummer) and stayed inside with Imogene, who came this morning so we could go to work. The nurse at CMG thinks it is a virus and to keep him hydrated and comfortable, which we have. Poor Daddy slept on the floor in N's room for a few hours this morning, so everyone is tired. Even the girls are already asleep and it is only 11:05. (I know, I know.)

I am going to SF tomorrow for a few days for work. I am going to miss A's Curtain Call show of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory at Holton, which I am very sad about. I am taking a redeye back Thursday night so that I can be here for their Carnival on Friday, though.

Two books arrived in the house tonight that made two people in the house very happy. M got the Candymakers sequel, and N got his own copy of Scrambled States Talent Show (the last copy we had was from the library). Happy shrieks from both kids.

M is signed up for softball and A is signed up for soccer and all that is left is to sign A up for dance. Things are falling into place for the fall.

Here are N and A on the couch tonight after dinner. A read him his new copy of Scrambled States Talent Show
