Sleepover!

We're having a sleepover tonight. Lolly is here. As Tuvana reminded me, the last time we did a sleepover with Lolly, I live-blogged it. No such luck tonight. Daddy is home and I don't want to be on the computer all night. But here's a quick update. The girls are watching "The Suite Life with Zack and Cody", a benign Disneyfied sitcom about junior high school twin boys. (This is what the girls picked out at the video store.) I was worried that it was too old for them, but an informal poll of their peers (Julia and Lolly) reveals that other 5 year-olds are watching it too. They are rapt.

M's fourth tooth fell out tonight! It was really, really, REALLY loose, and despite Daddy attempting the dental-floss-tied-to-the-bathroom-door trick (which M put the kibosh on), it wouldn't come out. One bite into her pizza dinner, and it was out. The Tooth Fairy has to navigate among three girls tonight… We will see whether A and Lolly end up with anything.

We saw "Ferdinand the Bull" at Imagination Stage today. The girls liked it. I thought it was kind of boring.

Last night we went to Simchat Torah services at TS. They were fine. M had a blast but A didn't want to participate in the parade with the other kindergarteners, which was tricky, because I was alone and M wanted to be part of it. Luckily she found Abigail in the parade, so I could go back to the seat with A.

We read four books before bed last night – lots of fun.

We will see how late the girls sleep tomorrow. Lolly is going to sunday school with M&A at 11:15 tomorrow morning, so I will have to find some stuff to do in the morning to entertain the girls.

Off to finish apple crisp. Daddy is slicing the apples that M&A picked on their field trip.

What a great, newsy blog. I’m sure M and A will enjoy the sleepover with their friends. It must have been cute to watch M march around at the Simchat Torah services. She’s so cute without her (now) four teeth. Nothing could take away from her beauty. And A will go through the same thing — one of these days.
Love, hugs and kisses,
Aunt Ann
