This will be short, as we are headed to NY tomorrow to celebrate Darrah and Jason’s engagement and Grandpa Ron and Grandma Dina’s 45th Anniversary and Grandpa Ron’s birthday. It will be a very busy weekend but we are looking forward to seeing everyone and especially meeting baby Benjamin, who is M&A’s newest cousin.

A few memorable things from today:

• M must have told me she loved me 20 times today, usually accompanying her pronouncement with a kiss somewhere on my body. HOW CUTE IS THAT?
• A few nights ago, A left her little lamb on my bed. I brought it in while she was sleeping and tucked it under her arm. Then in the morning I told her what had happened. So last night, they both intentionally left animals/babies on my bed that they wanted me to bring in to their rooms when I went to sleep. (It backfired a bit when A woke up screaming at 5 AM that I hadn’t brought her dog in (I had) and proceeded to cry for 30 minutes until I brought her into the attic bed with me and we slept until 8. We’ll see how tonight goes.)
• I bought the girls some new crayons for the bath and A wrote her name all across the bathtub, then M’s.
• M said a few times tonight how much she likes having a sister, because they get to play together.
