It’s been a jampacked weekend, and it isn’t done yet! One more day – Labor Day tomorrow.
Yesterday we pulled the trigger on the big girl beds. They look like this bed, but in white, with no trundle underneath:
We also ordered bedding, which looks like this:
It should all arrive in about 8-10 weeks.
Then we went to Grampy and Nana’s after nap for a swim. Lots of fun. Then to Delhi Dhaba for dinner.
Today was a very busy day. We had a double-header of birthday parties this morning – Andrew’s 4th at his house this morning (moonbounce! swingset!) and then to Glen Echo for Ichi’s 3rd (carousel! cake!). Thank you to Sarah for letting us take cupcakes for the road, which the girls ate after dinner.
Lots of funny things to remember:
- The girls were talking about their favorite flowers, and M said, "Toothpicks!" (she meant tulips).
- Our neighbor was walking by today and said that she needed to get new numbers for her house. The girls showed her the ceramic numbers on our house, and M said they were from "Natalie" (Italy).
- A says "glubs" instead of "gloves" and also calls lip gloss "lip glop".
- Tonight the girls were listing countries, and M said, "What about Rosh Hashanah?" We think she meant Russia.
Finally, here are some photos from the baseball game on Friday night, courtesy of Buppie:
Love today’s blog. The beds and bedding are beautiful. Lucky girls! Thank you for the wonderful photos. All of you look just great. M and A are really cute and entertaining with their “vocabulary”.
