Sunday Night Wrapup

We had an unusually social weekend – dinner the last three nights at different people's houses. We thank them for invites! Tonight we ate at the Bai/Uchimiya house, with the girls. We ordered from Potomac Pizza and the kids all had fun running around. Ichi tried to describe Pokemon cards and some other random boy-focused collectibles that I totally didn't understand at all. What am I going to do with a boy?!

The girls had their second rehearsal today. I have learned that they are in Act I of Alice in Wonderland, and that they get carried off the stage. That's all I know. No dates yet but they are performing in either 3 or 4 shows from April 11-15.

Dan took the girls over to Nana and Grampy's this afternoon for a visit while I was downtown speaking at a conference. Yes, on a Sunday.

We're slowly making progress at home. I got most of Captain's closet cleaned out yesterday, though he may have to share a few shelves with me. I am hoping he's not a big clotheshorse! Tomorrow the builtins get installed in the NOW SHARED den, and that means that I can start moving everything from the green den out. Lots to do in the next few months. I hope that my energy level can keep up with everything that needs to get done.

M has to start in this week on HER hero research project. Her hero is Catherine Dunham, who was one of the first famous black dancers. Ms. Nickel picked out the heroes for the class and clearly gave some thought to the assignments!

Another busy week ahead!
