Fun day with the girls today. Mid-day we went to visit a friend of mine in the hospital who just had a baby, 7 weeks premature. We brought her some preemie clothes from when the girls were just born. Last night the girls got the clothes ready by snapping and unsnapping them many, many times. (I told my friend they were clean… perhaps they weren't that clean). We didn't get to see the baby, who was in the NICU behind some closed shades. She's doing well, though.
Then we went to Best Buy, a store the girls always seem to enjoy. Then it was off to Nana and Grampy's to visit and drop off a 2009 calendar. Nana gave the girls one of those fake cans of nuts/candy that actually has a coiled snake inside. Hilarity ensued.
Then Daddy took the girls to the playground while I went running. Dinner (homemade chili!). Bedtime, which has gotten way prolonged because girls seem to be wide awake and not interested in going to sleep. M said, "Please come up and tell me who won the Super Bowl, unless I am asleep. Then you can tell me in the morning."
Here is a class photo taken on the day of the Inauguration Day Breakfast Ball:
Your very bright daughters are so aware of everything that’s going on. They look adorable in the class photo. How very proud both mommy and daddy must be.
Love,
Aunt Ann
