There is a reason they are called the Terrible Twos. Today was not N's best day. He was willful, didn't listen, threw a few tantrums, and pushed every one of my buttons. 

But he also did some cute stuff. 

He went with me to Costco. Where's Waldo?

We've started listening to M&A's early birthday CDs, which N loves. Today we were listening to a modern rendition of "Old McDonald", and we got to the part where it said, "and on this farm he had a horse, EIEIO. With a neigh-neigh here, and a neigh neigh there…", he said, "I'm not on the farm, I'm in the car!"

Then when we got to Costco and I started filling up the cart, he said, "Mama, thank you for all of this food." AWWWW.

M&A were very helpful with N today. Daddy was gone all day because the Afghani presidents are in town and he met them at Andrews AFB this morning, had a lot of meetings, and then had dinner with them at Secretary Kerry's house. Not a bad day for the Ambassador.

In M&A news, they are double cast in Alice in Wonderland, which means they are in 7 out of 11 shows. Unfortunately, our regular carpool partner is not in that cast, which means lots and lots of trips to the KC in May. We went to Gap this evening and got some new dresses for them, which they can wear to things like Arts Night and any of year parties.
