Today was another mellow vacation day. The girls had a sleepover at Alida's last night, and I picked them pu around 11:30. They had been playing ping-pong and Webkinz (!), and were pretty tired because they went to bed at midnight. We headed to Bethesda for haircuts and then came back home for lunch. The girls practiced the piano and their spelling bee prep, and then M took a nap and A taught herself "The Story of My Life" on the piano.

Tonight, after N went to bed, we played a few games of Scattergories. Lots of cute answers from the girls – very creative!

I attempted a recipe that I got from the Washington Post's Food section that was pretty disappointing, so we had oatmeal and yogurt for dinner.

Tomorrow we are supposed to see the ICE! show at the Gaylord Hotel. Reviews are mixed.
