The Cuteness!

Home stretch! Only 7 more days of school. The girls had their last Math Club this morning.

Oh, and good news – the girls are NOT being held back a year at ballet. I got their evaluations today and both are placed in Level 2 next year – yay! Here is what their evaluations said:

Alexa
has demonstrated consistent progression throughout the year.  She has a clear understanding of class
expectations, concepts, movement execution, and vocabulary.  She participates enthusiastically and seems
to have enjoyed the class very much.  We
have been working on the shape of her hands in her port de bras.  In second position palm not facing the floor
but her other arm and hand.  I hope she
will be dancing over the summer.
Continue the good work and effort!

Maddie
has demonstrated consistent progression throughout the year.  She has a clear understanding of class
expectations, concepts, movement execution, and vocabulary.  She participates enthusiastically and seems
to have enjoyed the class very much.  We
have been working on closing in a turned out tight fifth position, placing the
foot directly behind the heel of the supporting leg and holding the head
straight.  She likes to tilt it or look
down.  I hope Maddie dances over the
summer.  Keep up the good work and effort!

Meanwhile here are two of the cutest things in the world. First, a photo of the girls in the hammock yesterday, sharing an iPod Nano and listening to music:

And second, a video of the little boy enjoying his birthday balloons.
