The Weekend By The Numbers

What a weekend! I am beyond exhausted this Sunday night, but we had a good couple of days. Here is the By The Numbers post…

Ballet troupes who performed at the Kennedy Center Friday night: 4 (Russian (Bolshoi), Danish, Japanese and Argentinian). Thanks, Grandma Sandy, for taking us to the ballet on Friday!

Items won at the auction last night: 4 (BOTH "Teacher Treats", which are outings with Ms. Paul and Ms. Baldwin); a cool lunchbox thing for me; and some gift certificates to the pottery place and a restaurant in Bethesda. Thankfully we are splitting both Teacher's Treats with 2 other kids.

Favorite things we saw at the auction: many (motorcycles in the wire ball, trampoline artists, trapeze artists, motorcycle on tightrope, and many more). We had a great time.

Amount I spent on two plastic tiger cups/bowls filled with sno cone ice at the circus: $22

Books purchased by girls at BCC Used Book Sale: 38

Books purchased by me at BCC Used Book Sale: 4

Age of Micah, our youngest dining companion at brunch at the Pizers' today: 10 months

Length of book finished yesterday in time for book club meeting today: 84 pages (Shoeshine Girl)

Between the auction, the ballet, the book sale, the book club, the brunch, and cleaning up the house today, it has been a VERY jam-packed weekend. Here is a pic from the Kennedy Center on Friday night:
