The Weekend By The Numbers

This was one loooong and jam-packed weekend. I think it's a By The Numbers kind of weekend.

Soccer games attended: 2 (M's and N's). Of note: N scored his first goal ever in a game! Yay N! His team won by a lot. M was basically about to quit last night, then decided to play one more game, and then ended up playing the whole game today because the starting goalie was sick. It was not a great experience today – her defense let her down and her offense was anemic. We'll see if this is really the last game.

Baseball games attended: 1 – N's. His team tied, which was impressive because the other team was made up of 2nd graders who have been playing together for a while. He had 2 good at-bats. Nice work N!

Softball games attended: 1. M's, for Sports Saturday at GDS. She didn't play (freshman) but the team beat Madeira. It was fun to watch!

Nats games lost: 2 of 3. Sigh.

Events attended: 2. Sidwell 9th grade parent potluck – fun – and neighbor gathering across the street. Both were fun and we met some new people.

Games played at home: 1. Clue. A played the entire game in character as Miss Scarlett. I think this was the first time I've ever played Clue with her when she didn't win. She was one off. Best line ever: "I have so many men to be doing right now – I mean, I have so many things to be doing right now." She also used her pencil like an old-timey cigarette the whole time, which was very entertaining.

Long day, long weekend. I'm beat! We had a nice and long awaited dinner tonight too with Grampy.  All good!
