We had a fun day today. M was asked on a playdate to a pool with a friend from her class, while A and I already had plans to go to another pool to meet up with Abigail (M was supposed to be with us). So M went on her playdate and then came to meet us at the other pool a few hours later. She had a great time.

The pool was cleared for an hour due to vomit in the pool. Lovely.

Back to school tomorrow! M is reading in announcements. Her topic: her mother. I am looking forward to hearing it! I will videotape it.

Some sad news – we had a casualty over the weekend. Blueberry the fish died. And Tangerine is on the way out. I suspect that they were overfed by a zealous owner in my absence. (Hint: she's 7 and loves animals). I bought new blue and orange guppies over the weekend so we have a new Tangerine and Blueberry in the tank, in addition to the ailing old Tangerine.

Other exciting purchases: shoes for M for Rachel's bat mitzvah and new electric toothbrushes that can be decorated with stickers. The girls had seen them on TV and were SO excited for them.

OK, still trying to catch up on sleep lost in the dorm room over the weekend.
