M can’t seem to catch a break this week. Poor girl.
First, she hurt her foot and had to have an x-ray.
Then she missed camp.
Then last night, she was up VERY late with a stomachache. She was in a lot of pain and there was nothing I could do for her. I don’t think she went to bed until after 1 AM.
Then on the way to camp this morning she was stung by a bee, or at least some other insect that left a large bump and hurt when it stung. She cried the whole way to camp. Thankfully, no allergic reaction. I went back an hour later to check on her and she was fine.
It was funny to drop in on them at camp, when they didn’t know I was coming. They were on the playground. M was playing on a large jungle gym with Ale and Sydney. A was way across the playground putting on a puppet show with finger puppets with one of the junior counselors and another camper. So interesting to see how they interact with each other – or don’t – during the day. I am always glad to see that they are not joined at the hip at camp, school, etc.
Hopefully tonight will be restful for everyone in the house. Daddy is away on a trip to SF but returns early tomorrow AM.
I have finally uploaded OBX and NY photos, including several that M and A took themselves. I will try to add some to the blog this weekend.
So sorry to learn of M’s sad week. I hope all is going well for her now. It’s fun to see what the children are up to when they don’t know you’re viewing them. It can be an eye-opener. I send happy thoughts and good wishes to all of you.
Love,
Ann
