Tuesday Night

Tonight when I got home I told M&A that every night after work, I want to do something "special". Like last night we got ice cream… other nights we can do other fun things (after homework is done). A immediately jumped on the bandwagon and said, "Let's make a schedule. We will do something special every night, except the weekends, because it's hard coming up with things, so we will want two days off." Then she got her notebook and wrote up this schedule:

Tuesday: Jigsaw puzzle

Wednesday: Play sleepin queens

Thursday: cupcake party

Friday: Play Wii

Things got too late for us to do a jigsaw puzzle tonight, but A did do her Castle Logix game for a few rounds. I hope we can stick to the schedule.

When I got home from work, the girls were reading the blog book to Imogene (the first one, from 2007). It made me sooo happy. They were laughing at all the cute things they used to do. When I first launched the blog, it was mostly anecdotes and less of a diary. I like both styles, but they are very different. Many fewer pictures back then.

Been meaning to share this: M has a plan for what M&A will do when they grow up. They will travel the world together. A will be a veterinarian, and M will be a photographer. M will take pictures of the animals that A takes care of, and they will put all the pictures in a book and sell it. That's how they will make money as they travel the world. A is kind of  on board with this plan, although she wants to be a movie star half the time, so she's not sure how that will work out.

This is a wonderful blog. It gives insight into how M and A think and how they do things. So wonderful. Thanks for the cute photos.
