So much has happened in the last 48 hours! I was going to write a post last night but I kept falling asleep because I was so tired.

On Friday I went to NYC to get A from AMDA. It was a great day. I got to see 2 of her performances – one in a scene she did with another Acting student, and one in a group film that SHE WROTE HERSELF. It was so cool! Both performances were great and I loved her script. I also got to meet a lot of her friends from the program, who were all very sweet and funny and just like A. She really found her tribe there. I am so proud of all she learned and how much she got out of the program. Here are some pics from the day:

On Saturday, we hung out here, did laundry, ran errands and welcomed Darrah and Jason and Eden, who came to DC to pick up Sydney from camp on Sunday AM. They took a quick swim, went to a friend's for dinner, and then came back here just in time to watch the Mets snatch victory from the Nats. Annoying. We did spy these pics on the camp website:

This morning, we all trekked up to Camp Louise to pick up M from camp. It was great to see her after three long weeks! We were all so excited to see her, especially N and A. Here are pics from pickup:

M had a really fun summer and she is tired but happy to be home. We all leave tomorrow for Spain and Portugal! We've done tons of laundry today and packed and run errands to get ready for the trip. Grandma Sandy came over to have dinner with us, which was great.
