I was away for two nights on business. I flew to St. Louis for a meeting, then drove to Nashville (via 3 states – Missouri, Illinois and Kentucky, ending up in Tennessee). Then I had a meeting yesterday in Nashville and flew home last night. Quick trip but covered a lot of ground.

I was able to get on an earlier flight last night and made it home in time for Hanukah! Here is what we opened last night and tonight:

Last night:

A: hair accessories – tons – for both girls; and a makeup collection from M; and a SECOND LAPTOP

M: athletic clothes like leggings and a vest; and a SECOND LAPTOP

N: 2 books that N loves from his TSNS classroom and two action figures – Spiderman and Captain America

Daddy: a book of photos from his farewell party at State Department

Me: a very pretty necklace

Tonight:

A: a box of clothes with 4 tops in it

M: a puzzle – 1000 piece – for both girls

N: a puzzle

Daddy: socks and a belt (zzzz)

Me: a hat and gloves from Daddy

In other news…

Both girls are in the running to represent their classes in the spelling bee.

N had OT today, which he loves, and had fun.

M had Nutracker show tonight and Grandma took her downtown, saw the show, and brought her back. Thank you, Grandma!

And in other news, we are going away for Christmas break! We're going to Sanibel Island, flying to Tampa, on 12/28 and returning 1/1.

We're caught up.
