This blog was out of commission the last few weeks, which explains the lack of posts. But I contacted support and got it working again, so here I am. Yay!
Dad and I are on our way to visit N! We are very excited. We are in Chicago right now and fly to Duluth in about an hour. So far, no delays, but there is always time…
Some updates:
We’ve gotten a bunch of letters from N. They aren’t that long. but we’ve learned that he is having a good time, he went on a hiking trip for a few days, he may go on a Boundary Waters trip second session, he’s been playing tennis and getting better, he’s gone climbing a few times, he was the stand-in commissioner for a wiffleball league while an older counselor went on a trip, he did some announcing during the junior-senior counselor softball game on the 4th, and he’s been going to MOCA (cooking) a lot. We are so excited to see him!
Dad and I had a very nice trip to Portugal. We were there for 3 full days and did a lot of walking, sightseeing and eating. It was very hot. We went to a new city – Porto – which we liked a lot.
A came home for the 4th of July long weekend. It was so nice having her home. Hobart was particularly excited to have her home. She is now back in LA for the second half of her internship.
M had her big blowout 4th of July party. There were probably 100+ people there, and while they didn’t stay out of the house, in the end, nothing was broken, no one got hurt and the police weren’t called. M had a great time and loved having so many people there from different parts of her life. She’s now in NY for the weekend and went to a huge DJ party thing last night called a “boiler”.
