Today was Valentine’s Day. N is finally too old for exchanging cards at school, though he did bring a bag o’ Chupa Chups to school and ended up in a fairly robust trade of candy with other kids. I guess that’s how they do V-Day in 6th grade at GDS. He got a nice big box of chocolates at home this AM too. Even he told us tonight that he is eating too much sugar.

Tonight we went to dinner at Lapis, an Afghan restaurant in Adams Morgan. It was pretty good, if a little chilly because we were on the patio and it’s February. N liked it pretty well.

The girls… M had a very full day of classes and it looks like she had Rocky trivia tonight too? A had a lot of classes including a midterm, and was having dinner with a male friend tonight. How cool is this – next week she is learning acting for commercials.
