Another gorgeous day in Lake Como.

We went to Varenna today, which is a beautiful town across the lake from Bellagio. We toured some amazing gardens and a monastery, all just a short hike up from the downtown area. It was a gorgeous day – a little hot – and the views in every direction were just stunning.

Lunch in Varenna, dinner back here at the house – we boiled fresh pasta and tossed it with pesto sauce, both from the local market – and now we are tired back at home. Daddy is asleep sitting up. Possibly because he had to carry a sleeping Nate for 30 minutes today when we got off the ferry at Bellagio!

Disappointing: George Clooney hasn't invited us over for lunch yet.
