Today the kids were off of school. N in particular had a good day. He slept in a little, hung out here, went out to lunch with Grandma Sandy and the girls, came home and played, had a playdate with his friend Eli for the first time, hung out with me, watched Curious George, had a bath, had dinner, read books with Daddy and went to bed. Not bad! 

The girls were sleepy today because they went to bed at THREE AM, up late talking to their friend Maria, who slept over. And they have a big day tomorrow – the SSAT. Everyone is in bed upstairs now (11:03PM) and the girls have an early wakeup to get them to the test on time. They are taking it at Sidwell.

M is a bit banged up from soccer practice. Luckily there is only one more weekend of games – next weekend's tournament – and I think next week is the last for practice too. Though she just told me that she has goalie practice in January, outside. (??)

We're all beat from a bad night of sleep last night. Hopefully more restful tonight.
