Another vacation update, now from the land of free wi-fi. We're in a new hotel now – we moved from the Marriott today to a hotel in a more remote area of Cancun. The new hotel is very nice, and there are lots of good things about it, but we also miss the Marriott. #Firstworldproblems.

The big news from here is that the girls got their class assignments today. M did NOT get the teacher she wanted (the hard one), but she got one who is supposed to be nice. She doesn't have any close buddies in her class, which is a little tough, but she'll get through it. A got the teacher M wanted and was happy about that. She has a few buddies in her class, including M's best friend Emily. So hopefully this will be a good year for her.

M was definitely a little disappointed. 🙁

The girls and N did some swimming this morning, N had a nap, and we headed out to the new hotel.

The bigger news is the update on yesterday:

• We all took a glass-bottom boat submarine tour of a very large reef outside Cancun. It was beuatiful – lots of fish and turtles. N was a bit squirmy on the boat to and from but he managed.
• Then Daddy took A snorkeling in the ocean with a group – it was fun but a little challenging getting used to the mask.
• THEN Daddy took M parasailing near our hotel. They had a great time and said it wasn't too scary.

Lots of adventure!

Tomorrow is our last day, sadly. Then we head back home on Friday. We are going to go to Isla de la Mujeres in the afternoon via ferry. Hopefully N won't be too squirmy.

A few words about N – he's been SO good. Sleeping well (poor boy is crammed into a bathroom tonight), eating well, so sweet and cute and funny. What a sweetheart. My favorite song to sing to him is "Do You Love Your Mommy 'Cause Your Mommy Loves You". It doesn't have any other words.
