Oh the weather outside is… balmy. We hit almost 70 today. Taking advantage of the nice day, we took A and N to the zoo today (M was at ballet and then a performance). It wasn't very crowded. We rode the merry go round 3 times (A took N twice). and saw some animals but not a ton. We also hit the children's farm on the way out. Happy to be zoo members, which makes an impromptu visit like this one very easy! A few animals we saw: elephants, crocodiles, huge turtles, lions, tigers
M had a show today and Daddy picked her up and introduced her to the daughter of one of his partners. She was quite shy and intimidated around M – so cute.
The girls also babysat for N tonight for almost 90 minutes while Daddy and I went to a holiday party and then picked up pizza.
Here are Hanukah hauls for the last 2 nights:
All of us: tickets to Oliver and Kiss Me Kate
Me and Daddy: tickets to see Bruuuuuuuuce at the end of January
Daddy: a sweater and a shirt that he doesn't like. Boo.
Me: my book lover page-a-day calendar and a book about how to watch baseball smarter. Yay!
A: a bunch of art supplies: a little body model to help with proportions, a bunch of pencils/pastels/etc. and sketchbooks; some hair supplies from M
M: 3 of those pillow things she likes to make
M&A: the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid from N and 2 beautiful bracelets from Nana; jigsaw puzzle of vintage cereal boxes
N just said to Daddy, "You know why you're tired? Because you go running a lot."
