We are in the OBX!

It is very good to be out of DC. We have a nice, not amazing house in a great location beachfront. Today we had a pretty leisurely day. A went to see a friend from Sidwell staying nearby, and she learned to surf and loved it. The rest of us hung out here at home. Beach was lovely thanks to a light breeze. We got acai bowls and had farro bowls for dinner. It feels like vacation. Nice to see N in the ocean, plus A surfing the waves (we rented a board). N said a few times, "Thanks so much for taking us on this vacation".
