Toward the end of Darrrah’s wedding, M turned to me and said, "When I get married, I want it to be right here. In this room. Do you promise me? I will marry Jessica right here."
Then tonight, we were playing with these cootie-catchers (that’s what they were called when I was little) – these pieces of paper that you fold up into little contraptions that you can fold and unfold and then find little messages/fortunes at the bottom. One of them had little messages about future husbands. First we did it for A. She was not happy with "you will marry a doctor" or "you will marry a rock star" or "…accountant" or "…artist." She only wanted "you will marry an athlete" when I told her that an athlete could be a male gymnast or ballerina. M got "you will marry a movie star", to which she said, "But I thought I was going to marry Jessica!".
Speaking of getting married – I have lots and lots of photos from the wedding. I will start posting some of them here over the next few days.
Gayle, THANK YOU for taking and posting these awesome photos. The girls were so wonderful. That’s hilarious that Maddie wants to get married at the BBG. She also told me she wants to wear your dress because it’s sparkly! 🙂 You were a wonderful bridesmaid and looked beautiful. I’m only bummed that I forgot to introduce you to Juan at the wedding!
