Wednesday at Home

I stayed home with the girls today so that I (our nanny) could take move her son back to college. We had a very busy day. First we went to Trader Joe’s. The girls got 4 balloons – A requested a special "balloon within a balloon." Then we met Sarah and Hannah and Andrew at a playground and went out afterwards for pizza. Other than a few tantrums from A, it was a smooth morning.

After nap, the girls and I went to the crafts store to buy some vases for Daddy’s upcoming 40th birthday party. We also got all sorts of crafts – stickers, pom poms, googly eyes, glitter glue, etc. The girls put several items in the cart that I removed at checkout. We bought Halloween pumpkin-shaped buckets that the girls can use to collect their loot when trick-or-treating.

Memorable comments today:

M: "A lot of people burp and a lot of kids have gas." True.

A: "Who says gobble gobble? A bubble!"

A also asked if I could buckle up her bunny on top of her when I put her in the carseat. So I did.

I am exhausted.
