We had a lot of great family time together this weekend. Lots of time at home and out, at various games, errands and other events. And both nights we had Movie Night at home. Friday we watched Election and Saturday we watched Tootsie. M still maintains that she hates movies but I think both girls found both movies entertaining at least.
M had her last regular season soccer game today. It was a tough loss – 4-2 – but she had some good saves. And it turns out the other team was stacked with ringers – boo. N had a good game yesterday, in which he had a few assists and a few goal attempts. Thank you to Grampy for cheering M on in a rainy, cool afternoon.
The girls were supposed to babysit for Dax last night but he was sick so they stayed home – a win for us!!!
We went to an open house at the ol' alma mater today. It wasn't terribly well done – no discussion of the curriculum, just a short address from the headmistress, a short a capella show, and then they went off to 3 classes. I left early to take M to soccer. N and Daddy went to one track and A to another. I don't think anyone was overwhelmed. But they are taking a tour in a few weeks so they will learn more then.
Here are some pics of N from the Gold Base Shutterfly site – a few from Halloween and one from the field trip to the Building Museum.
