Here's what happened this weekend.

-I came back from California in time to make it to A's soccer game and surprise all three kids.

-A had 5 attempts on goal! She did a great job! Her team beat GDS 5-1.

-Daddy and the girls went to a pointe shoe seminar yesterday. Nothing earth-shattering.

-M took a swing today at a ball in her game!! She was walked twice. They played a team of much older and bigger girls and only lost by 2 points.

-Thanks Grandma for coming over and watching N so that I could go running today.

-The girls went to a bowling birthday party for Hannah last night.

-Daddy went back to Afghanistan tomorrow, but only til Tuesday.

-Gophers are eating our yard. Annoying!!

-The Nats' Jordan Zimmerman pitched the team's first no-hitter of all time, and Spannie set a team record for most hits in a season.

-Julia babysat twice – during M's game today and during the pointe shoe seminar yesterday. Tough weekend for solo parenting!
