Weekend Wrapup

It has been a pleasantly busy weekend.

Friday we had the Mikhails over along with Mary and her daughter Rachel, who is looking at colleges in DC. It was a fun night. We had dinner here and then the kids all hung out. We ended the night hanging out in the living room and telling funny stories about our families. A fun multi-generational night with old friends who know each other very well.

Last night we went to dinner at the home of a family with a son in M's class and a father who went on Daddy's Luce fellowship. It was fun and the girls didn't want to leave with us so they Ubered home later. I guess they were having a good time!

Also on the agenda this weekend:

ITW rehearsal, but it was an All Cast which A doesn't love

M-S book club. Not a good discussion due to not enough questions asked and too much wrestling by the first graders. But N stayed after for a playdate and played Nintendo for the first time.

M soccer game. If you miss a lot of practice, apparently you don't get a lot of playing time.

Family viewing of The Parent Trap, starring Maddie and Alexa Feldman Lindsay Lohan. N is loving it!

N swim lesson. He said it was better this week. He was not happy to go to the lesson (understatement).
