Ay ay ay – so many days have passed and I haven't posted! It has been busy with unpacking and activities. Highlights from the last few days:
- N had his consecration ceremony at TS on Friday night. It was cute. He got up on stage and sang the Schma (how do you spell that?) and then they sang a song about sweetness and honey because their first taste of reading Torah is supposed to be sweet. He got the mini Torah that all little kids get and he was very happy about it.
- A had her XC banquet tonight. She won a paper plate award for Team Cheerleader. She also had Sophia L. over last night and they watched The Shining until it got scary, and then they turned it off.
- M went to a birthday party for her friend Jamie last night at Ted's Bulletin. No pop-tarts – WTF?
- The girls saw Wilson's performance of Rent on Friday night and said it was great!
- Unpacking continues.
- Daddy went to a birthday party in NYC last night. Thanks Grandma Sandy and Stu for babysitting so I could go out for dinner with a friend. Much needed!
- M's climbing program starts this week. Lots of schleps (that one I can spell) out to Rockville every week. Thank god for GDS bus. Not sure what A is doing about sports this session – maybe yoga?
- PT conferences at the privates were last week and the kids are doing great. All the more impressive given the transition to private school.
- N is a mastermind at Mastermind. He loves it!
- N has tomorrow off and is going to work with me for half the day until Imogene gets home from Wilmington. He's SO excited. (I am too!)
- We got Olivia's BM invitation and it's so pretty! We're excited.
Ok it is late. I'm sure I left a lot out but I must go to sleep. Pics from consecration:
