Lots of stuff happened this weekend!

A had a social weekend in NYC and went out a lot, despite it being very cold. Today she had lunch at a "dog cafe" where there were dogs and there was poop on the floor (?).

M is finally back in her dorm after 3 weeks of Lunar New Year holiday, two different host families and lots of time off from school. I think she is very happy to be back at school.

We had a busy weekend here at home. Amy is here visiting from Montana and we did a lot of fun stuff. Today we went to the Zoo with N and saw: elephants, pandas. sea lions, red pandas, a cheetah, some gorillas, some prairie dogs, an Amazonia collection. We covered most of the Zoo in two hours and it was not cold and not crowded. 

Amy and I visited both Grampy and Grandma Sandy, and we went to the East Wing of the National Gallery yesterday. N was supposed to have a soccer game yesterday but it was VERY cold so it was canceled. And now it's warm today.

And the BIGGEST news of all: NATE WON THE CLASS SPELLING BEE!!! He now goes on to the schoolwide spelling bee in 2 weeks!!
