We finally got our act together to return to DC today. We left Williamsburg around 11, stopped and bought a few pies as thank you/hostess gifts, and headed home. Pulled up at home around 2:30 – not too bad. This afternoon, Imogene stopped by to see the kids (who she missed a lot), and then M & A went to Joanna's birthday party. We picked them up there en route to dinner at the Hoffmans, which was a lot of fun. Many kids hanging out and imitating their teachers. There was Celia (9th grade), Isabel (7th grade), Sylvie (6th grade), Lena (5th grade), Theo (2nd grade but WAY taller than M & A), and Mia (7th grade, I think). They seemed to have a great time. N hung out with us but had a few crayon sessions with Celia.

Overall, a fun night! And Lucky is back with the pack.

Too tired to post more Nutcracker pics but I will do so tomorrow. Poor M isn't feeling well and is in bed sleeping next to me. The stomach bug in our house continues…
