Lots of kids with lots of plans – that's the theme for today.
For N, it was probably his dream day. He slept in til 9, got up, got ready for soccer, played in a winning game, went to the Lafayette Fall Festival, came home, went to Butler's with Daddy, came home, watched baseball, played 2 games of Outfoxed and went to bed at 11:15. Not bad at all.
Lafayette Fall Festival let him catch up with old friends, including Ms. Goodwin, and hang with his soccer and baseball buddies. We did all the usual activities: Haunted House, rides, train (!), moonbounces and more.
Daddy and N got lots of pumpkins at Butler's. They got there late and it was about to close, and Daddy said it was like being at Disney after hours. No lines! They did the usual: slide, hayride, mazes, etc.
Meanwhile, A had a lot going on too. Homecoming at Sidwell – she went to the game, then came home and changed into a very casual outfit and went out to dinner with friends and her (friendly) date Cameron Gilly.
Before the game:
Tonight:
The dance wasn't fun, so she went to a GDS party where M was, then to a Sidwell party. Daddy took her down and picked up her and M late tonight so MVP to Daddy tonight.
And here is M en route to her party. She is at her friend Emmy's house here:
In other news, we did a puzzle last weekend. M did the lion's share. This is an oldie but goodie:
Whew. That's a lot of photos and a lot of driving and a lot of hours outside the house. Everyone now under one roof! (12:57AM).
