Tonight A said that M has been playing a lot with the doctor set, which was supposed to be just for A. And M said, "That wasn't nice of you to buy something for A that's so fun to play with." I told them that I agreed that the doctor set was a lot of fun and that I could understand why M wanted to play with it. I am sure that this goes against all of the parenting books, but I told them they could share the doctor set and that I'd buy something else that will be just for A. Because money, apparently, grows on trees.
Ever since they learned their letters, the girls (especially M) have loved Wheel of Fortune. Sometimes they watch it with Imogene, as it comes on just as I am coming home from work. The last two nights, I have showed off my Wheel of Fortune prowess, and the girls love it. I can usualy solve the puzzles long before the contestants do, and M jumps up and down and claps as soon as I solve it. It's so cute. They kepe telling me to go on "the movie" and do the spelling.
Tonight, the final puzzle was a Person, and this is what was revealed: _ L _ _ _ E R. I was very confident that it was PLUMBER until the guy asked for an M and there was no M. So I sat there frowning at the TV for a while until time was up.
The answer was: BLOGGER.
M and A are so clever — take after their mom (and dad too) Mommy you do handle difficult situations so well, no wonder your girls are so wonderful.
Love,
Aunt Ann
