I worked from home today and got to spend more time than usual with the kids.
I was here when N came home from school, which is always so sweet. He comes home very happy. He got a little cranky tonight but he was very cute all day. Lots of singing, lots of kisses. I asked him for a kiss and he said "you always want kisses!". Then he said "that was a dry kiss – thank you Mama!" (Not that I give him any other kind!) Grandma came over to give M a piano lesson and she gave me a hug, and N got very possessive and tried to separate us.
I got a ping on my phone when M approached the house on the bus, and I realized I wanted to meet her at the bus stop. I ran outside as fast as I can, not stopping for shoes, and ran down the street barefoot until I got almost to the bus stop. She was very happy to see me! Tonight M made flourless peanut butter/oatmeal cookies. They are good! Passover baking is hard when you don't have any of the specialized ingredients in the house.
A got out of rehearsal around 5:30, so I went to go get her at school. N came too and wanted A to sing his songs to him on the way home, which she did. (She did feign a sore throat at one point, which of course he believed.) A is loving rehearsal and we are so excited to see her in the show!
I made a spinach matzoh kugel tonight – yummy!
Nats lost.
