For my birthday, Grandma Sandy gave me an amaryllis plant. It contained three bulbs and for many weeks, it barely grew at all. Then in the last two weeks or so, it has shot up and started to bloom. Here is the first of the blooms. taken tonight while N made himself a root beer slushie. I love it. Worth the wait!
