Busy Week For Everyone!

It has been a long week for N.

He had a few tests and retests (math and science), GDS Social Justice Teach-in Day, and 8th Grade Hill Day, which was the highlight of his week. He was in the First Amendment group and spent the day at the ADL and the ACLU. According to parent chaperone who went with his group: “The kids were so well prepared and great at listening. For the Freedom of Speech group, both the ADL and ACLU told us they were so impressed with the kids and loved the hard questions.” N found the day very interesting and asked a lot of questions about the Ten Commandments in school and about about Israel and political campaigns.

Some pics from the chaperones who went:

It’s now Friday night and N is very tired, which is understandable after his long week!

Meanwhile, A is landing at Dulles in 30 minutes! She is coming home for the weekend. So excited to see her.

Dad is in Munich at a conference. He left Monday for Brussels and got to Munich today.

And M is in Princeton after another busy week, including a visit to Health Services (she is fine, just a cold) and initiation of the new Ivy members. Jaylee was elected Treasurer of Ivy so M is very excited for her.

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day too!
