Yesterday N and I volunteered at an adoption event in Rockville with Lucky Dog Animal Rescue. We were assigned to Sebastian, a tiny chihuahua who was very scared. It was his first event after coming up from Puerto Rico after being removed from a hoarding situation. He basically sat on one of us, or on a little bed, the whole time. We didn’t get him adopted, but hopefully it was a good step in building his confidence. We’ll be watching LDAR emails to see if/when he gets adopted.
Dad is away this week, Alexa comes home Friday for the weekend and N has Hill Day on Wednesday.
