Catching Up

It has been a while since I posted! Every night I say I am going to post and then I am so tired and can’t muster the energy to post. Tonight I am tired but I am vowing not to let another day go by.

Things have been busy here. Dad was away for several nights in NY and STL (for his reunion) and things were pretty busy here. N has been doing lots of sports – cross country after school and baseball 4 days a week. His team is doing well (notwithstanding a bad loss today) and it has been fun to watch them play. They play at Shirley Povich Field at Cabin John Regional Park which is a lovely field, with real seats and dugouts , but no shade, which makes sunny games a little hard. I think their record is now 5-3. Nate had a nice RBI on Friday. One day I want to take H to one of N’s games.

School is progressing pretty well. Tomorrow N has MAP testing, which means he has to get a good night’s sleep. It’s 10:49 and he is just now getting into bed.

Last night we got dinner at Tastee Diner – it was late and N was coming home from an event.

Last week, N and one of his classmates, Poppy, moderated a Q&A at Wonderland about a book written by Poppy’s father Jared. The book is about experiential learning. They did a great job!

A is still shooting Nuns with Guns. Here is a pic we got from her last night.

She seems to be enjoying it a lot!

M has a trip coming up to Finland and Estonia with her LISD program. She is very excited! We will see her in a few weeks for Parents Weekend. She seems to be having a great year so far.
