I am sooooo far behind on blogging here. A lot of things have happened over the last month or two that need to be recorded here on P&B&B&B&C&C. Now that N is at camp for the summer, I have some time and will catch up.
Let’s start with N’s 14th birthday. His birthday was last Monday June 9. We had had a swim party for him here at the house over the weekend with some of his friends, and he was already out of school. I stayed home from work, and he slept in until Dad woke him up with pancakes in the shape of 14s.
Alex came over to swim for a few hours, and then N and I headed out to Rockville. We made a few stops: 1) Duck Donuts; 2) the extortionate claw machine place; and 3) Target (to buy some stuff for camp).
We spent way more money than we should have at the claw place and at Target, though the donuts were pretty reasonable.
After Rockville, we went to baseball practice, which N didn’t want to miss because it was the last week and they were playing their championship game at the end of the week.
From baseball, we drove to Chef Geoff’s where we met Grandma Sandy, Tequila, Dad and M for birthday dinner. M brought dot cakes that she made for the birthdays.

After dinner, we headed home where N opened presents – some fidget things from M and a ton of Survivor stuff (tshirt, blanket, a puzzle, a balance maze and a mock Simmotion game (IYKYK). He was very happy with his presents!

And now we have a 14 year-old.
